SBI Youth for India Fellowship Bridges Urban and Rural India
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a special program where young people from cities go to villages to help with different problems.
They live there for 13 months and work on things like education, farming, and women's rights.
The program helps them learn and also helps the villages.
Over 700 people have done this program, and many of them keep working to help villages even after they finish.
They do things like teaching women to make healthy food, protecting nature, and even building better schools.
The program also helps keep old traditions alive, like growing special crops and building houses with mud.
The SBI Foundation supports them with money and advice, and many fellows start their own projects to keep helping the villages.
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a 13-month program for urban youth to work in rural communities.
Over 700 alumni have participated, with more than 60% being women.
Fellows work on projects in livelihood, education, environment, and women’s empowerment.
The program includes training and mentorship from 15 NGO partners.
Fellows receive up to ₹1 lakh for community projects and post-fellowship support.
