Varanasi Gears Up for Dev Deepawali with 10 Lakh Diyas and 3D Laser Show
Varanasi is getting ready for a big festival called Dev Deepawali on November 5th.
Imagine over 10 lakh little lamps, called diyas, lighting up all the river banks and the water.
It's going to be super bright!
There will also be a cool 3D laser show that tells stories about the city's history and gods.
Think of it like a special light show with music telling tales of Shiva, Parvati, and Buddha.
They are also planning to use eco-friendly fireworks.
The city is divided into 20 areas, and each one has a person in charge to make sure everything runs smoothly.
It's all about celebrating faith and the special spirit of Varanasi with lots of light and stories.
Varanasi will host Dev Deepawali on November 5, 2025, illuminated by over 10 lakh diyas.
A 25-minute 3D projection and laser show titled 'Kashi Katha' will narrate the city's spiritual and cultural history.
The celebration includes eco-friendly green fireworks at the Ganga Dwar of Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Preparations involve dividing the 20 sectors of the ghats and opposite river banks, each managed by a nodal officer.
Festivities will commence with shankhnaad and damru, and the 3D show will be free and presented multiple times.
