Ather Energy Raises Scooter Prices
Ather Energy, a company that makes electric scooters in India, has said that their scooters will cost a bit more starting from 2026.
The prices will go up by up to ₹3,000.
This is because the cost of making the scooters has gone up due to things like more expensive materials and problems in getting parts from other countries.
They have different types of scooters, like the Rizta and the 450 series.
The Rizta is their most popular one and comes in two versions, S and Z. The 450 series has models like the 450S, 450X, and 450 Apex.
So, if you're thinking about buying one of these scooters in 2026, you'll need to pay a little extra.
Ather Energy announces a price hike of up to ₹3,000 for its entire electric scooter lineup, effective from January 1, 2026.
The price increase is due to rising input costs, foreign exchange fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.
Affected models include the Rizta S, Rizta Z, 450S, 450X, and 450 Apex.
The Rizta S, currently priced at ₹114,546, will see a new starting price of ₹117,546 after the hike.
The Ather 450X, currently priced at ₹150,046, will have a new starting price of ₹153,046 post-hike.
