Doctors Demand Timely Payment of Allowances
Doctors in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are facing problems with their salaries and allowances.
In Telangana, the Telangana Government Doctors Association (TGGDA) wants the government to quickly introduce a new law to move the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) under the Directorate of Secondary Health Services (DSHS).
They say this will help solve the problem of delayed salaries for doctors.
In Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP NTR district doctors wing is asking for timely payment of tribal allowances to doctors working in Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in tribal areas.
They say the government has already set the rates for these allowances, but doctors are still not getting paid on time.
Both groups hope the government will take action soon to fix these issues and help the doctors.
TGGDA demands immediate introduction of a bill to bring TVVP under DSHS to resolve salary issues.
Doctors under TVVP face severe financial hardship due to delayed salaries.
TGGDA accuses the government of administrative failure in resolving the issue.
YSRCP NTR district doctors wing seeks timely payment of tribal allowances for PHC doctors in Andhra Pradesh.
Government orders set tribal allowances at Rs 3,500 for male doctors and Rs 4,000 for female doctors.
