Princeton University Appoints Two Indian-Origin Academics
Princeton University has hired two new professors, Abhishek Bhattacharjee and Ravi Nath, who are of Indian origin.
Abhishek will teach computer science and help design better computer chips.
He has worked at Yale and other top schools and has won big awards for his work.
Ravi will study how and why we age, using a special fish that ages quickly.
Both are joining a growing group of Indian scholars at top universities.
Princeton also recently appointed another Indian-American professor as the dean of its Graduate School.
This shows that more Indian scholars are getting important jobs at famous universities around the world.
Princeton University has appointed Abhishek Bhattacharjee and Ravi Nath as new faculty members.
Bhattacharjee will join as a professor of computer science on September 1, 2026.
Nath will join as an assistant professor in molecular biology in July 2026.
Bhattacharjee's work focuses on computer architecture and has been used by companies like NVIDIA and Meta.
Nath studies aging at a genetic level using killifish to understand longevity and age-related diseases.
