Malaysia Airlines parent MAG orders mandatory drug testing for pilots

An airline company in Malaysia named Malaysia Airlines had a very serious problem.

One of its pilots was caught with a big bag of dangerous drugs when he arrived in another country called Indonesia.

The police found a drug called MDMA hidden in his luggage.

They also said the pilot had drugs in his body when they tested him.

The pilot said someone paid him money to carry the drugs.

The airline company was very upset about what happened.

They decided that every pilot and all flight attendants must take a drug test now.

Pilots who do not take the test by August 15 will not be allowed to fly their planes.

The airline said keeping everyone safe is the most important thing.

The leaders of Malaysia also promised to make airports safer, because drug rules in Indonesia are very strict.
