NSE Revenue Drops 8.2%, Net Profit Up 8.7% Before IPO
The National Stock Exchange of India, or NSE, is a big company that helps people buy and sell stocks.
In the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, it made less money from its main business, dropping 8.2% to 4,560 crore rupees.
But it earned more profit, up 8.7% to 3,120 crore rupees, because it spent less on costs.
It also made a lot of money before taxes, called EBITDA, which was 3,551 crore rupees, and its profit margin was 77.9%.
The NSE is getting ready to sell shares to the public in an IPO, and it filed the paperwork on June 17.
It will sell 14.89 crore shares, but it won't get any money from the sale.
The company is also waiting for a final decision from the regulator about a case that could cost it more than 1,400 crore rupees.
