Trump Says US Prefers Iran Deal, Warns Against Nuclear Weapons
The President of the United States talked to people in a city called Las Vegas.
He talked about a country far away called Iran.
He said America does not want Iran to build a nuclear weapon.
A nuclear weapon is a very powerful and dangerous bomb.
He said America would rather talk and make a deal than fight.
But he also said America has been hitting Iran hard with the military.
He said a big attack was planned, but Iran asked to talk first.
He compared this to Venezuela, a country America fought quickly.
He said America now gets oil from Venezuela and is friendly with them.
He ended by saying Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
US President Donald Trump said Washington would prefer to reach a deal with Tehran but will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.
Speaking in Las Vegas, Trump claimed recent US military action has weakened Iran, comparing the effort to a "48-minute war" in Venezuela.
Trump said a much larger attack was planned but halted after Iran sought talks, while noting Iran later denied making that request.
Trump reiterated that "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon" and claimed Iran now respects the United States.
He also praised ICE and referenced action against the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, saying the US is getting oil from Venezuela and getting along great with the country.
