Americans Dissatisfied with Country's Direction and Trump's Policies: Poll
A recent survey asked Americans how they feel about the country and their president.
Most people, about 2 out of every 3, said they think the country is going in the wrong direction.
Many also feel the president is not doing a good job handling important things like the economy and making sure people can come into the country legally.
More than half think the president is using too much power.
People are worried about money and prices going up, and they blame the president for that.
Even though many people are unhappy, they mostly still agree with the vote they cast in the last presidential election.
Interestingly, more people think the Democratic party is out of touch than they think the president or the Republican party are out of touch.
67% of Americans believe the country is 'pretty seriously off on the wrong track,' according to a new poll.
59% disapprove of President Trump's job performance, with majorities also disapproving of his handling of the economy, immigration, and foreign policy.
64% of Americans believe President Trump is exceeding his presidential powers, with majorities also feeling he has overstepped in areas like cutting the federal workforce and intervening in universities.
Concerns about the economy are high, with 52% stating it has worsened under Trump and 60% blaming him for inflation.
Despite widespread dissatisfaction, most voters stand by their previous presidential election choices, and the Democratic and Republican parties are both seen as out of touch by a majority of Americans.
