Assam Governor Leads Statewide Anti-Drug March in Tinsukia

Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya led a march against drug abuse in Tinsukia.

The march was part of a campaign called the Nasha Mukt Bharat Sankalp Padayatra.

Hundreds of students, citizens and local people joined him.

They walked from Tinsukia College to Mahatma Gandhi Park.

The governor said stopping drugs needs more than police action.

He said families, schools, communities and local officials must work together.

He also praised the state government’s strict policy against narcotics.

The campaign has already visited several other districts in Assam.
