Major Navya Shekhawat has become the first woman officer from the Indian Army to serve as the President’s Aide-de-Camp.

The President is Droupadi Murmu.

They also help organize official activities.

They assist with military and ceremonial rules, called protocol.

Navya is the second woman officer overall to hold this position.

Before her, Indian Navy officer Yashasvi Solanki became the first woman President’s ADC in 2025.
