North India Faces Severe Cold

After a day of rain, the states of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh in India got very cold.

The city of Bathinda was the coldest, with a temperature of 0.8 degrees Celsius.

Other cities like Faridkot and Hisar were also very cold.

The temperatures were much lower than usual, and some places even recorded temperatures below freezing.

Meanwhile, in Himachal Pradesh, it was also very cold, and snowfall blocked many roads, including two national highways.

This made it hard for people to travel.

The cold and snow also caused power outages in many homes.

The weather is expected to stay cold, with more snow and rain forecasted for the next few days.

In Madhya Pradesh, intense cold returned with a significant drop in temperatures and dense fog alerts in several districts.

The cold wave is expected to continue with further drops in minimum temperatures.
