Thane MACT Awards Rs 7.89 Lakh Compensation
In Thane, Maharashtra, a court called the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) decided that the family of a 57-year-old man who died in a truck accident should get Rs 7.89 lakh.
The court said the truck owner and the insurance company must pay this money together.
They also have to add 9% interest every year from the day the family asked for the money.
This is to help the family because they lost their loved one in an accident.
The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) in Thane awarded Rs 7.89 lakh to the family of a 57-year-old man killed in a truck accident.
The compensation must be paid jointly by the truck owner and the insurance company.
The compensation includes a 9% annual interest from the date of the petition.
MACT member Rupali Mohite ordered the payment.
The decision was made on December 8.
