Gujarat: Teachers Awarded Lifetime Free Bus Travel

The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, has given a special gift to teachers.

Teachers who have won the Best Teacher Award at the state and national level will now get to travel for free for the rest of their lives on any bus run by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation.

This decision was made because the teachers' union asked for it.

This free travel benefit is currently available to nearly a thousand teachers who have already won awards, and any teacher who wins the award in the future will also get this benefit.

This is a way to show appreciation for the hard work of teachers.
