Sanvordem Villagers Oppose New Bandhara Project

Villagers in Sanvordem are upset about a plan to build a dam, called a bandhara, in Falnem.

They worry it could cause flooding.

The villagers are angry because they weren't told about the plan and weren't asked for their opinions.

They want their local leaders to step down.

They feel the government is not listening to them and is trying to divide them.

The same thing happened before when they opposed a similar project nearby.
