Indians With Certain Foreign Visas Can Enter Uzbekistan Visa-Free
Some Indian travelers can visit Uzbekistan without getting an Uzbekistan visa first.
They must have a valid multiple-entry business or tourist visa from certain countries.
These countries include the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Schengen countries.
They can stay for up to 30 days.
They must also have a confirmed ticket to return home or continue to another country.
Without that ticket, they may not qualify for visa-free entry.
This rule does not apply to every Indian passport holder.
Other Indian travelers need to apply for an Uzbekistan visa.
Indian citizens with valid multiple-entry visas from specified countries may enter Uzbekistan without an Uzbekistan visa.
Eligible travellers can stay in Uzbekistan for up to 30 days.
Qualifying visas include business or tourist visas issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Schengen member states, the United Kingdom or the United States.
Travellers must carry a confirmed return or onward air ticket to their country of origin or a third country.
Indian citizens who do not meet these conditions must obtain an appropriate Uzbekistan visa.
