India Producing 920 TPD Energy from Farm Waste
India now has 132 plants that make clean fuel from farm waste.
These plants make 920 tonnes of energy every day.
The government is also working to make sure more people have access to clean cooking gas and natural gas at home.
They have built many gas stations and long pipelines to help with this.
The goal is to use waste to make clean energy, help farmers earn more money, and reduce pollution.
India has 132 compressed biogas plants producing 920 tonnes per day (TPD) of energy from farm waste.
The country has 33 crore LPG households, including 10.35 crore Ujjwala connections, with plans to add more.
There are 1.58 crore piped natural gas (PNG) homes and 8,428 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations.
The pipeline network spans 25,429 km, with growing LNG capacity.
The government is expanding the National Gas Grid and setting up LNG terminals to enhance natural gas availability for power generation.
