Crossword Book Awards 2025 Shortlists Announced
Imagine a big book party where judges pick their favorite books of the year!
Crossword Bookstores is having its own book party, called the Crossword Book Awards.
They just announced a list of five books they really liked in each of five different groups: stories, true facts, books translated from other languages, books for kids, and books about how businesses work.
The winners will be announced on December 3rd in Mumbai, and each winner will get some money.
The judges said they picked books that were new, well-written, and made readers think or feel something special.
These books are like the best of the best stories from India right now.
Crossword Bookstores has announced the shortlists for the 2025 Crossword Book Awards.
The awards will be presented across five categories: Fiction, Non-fiction, Translations, Children’s Books, and Business and Management.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on December 3.
Each winning author will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
The jury selected books for their originality, craft, impact, and contribution to contemporary Indian literature.
