Delhi Fire Service Deploys QRVs to Fight Fires
The Delhi Fire Service has added 24 new fire-fighting vehicles to help put out fires faster in crowded parts of the city.
These new fire trucks are small and designed to move quickly through traffic and narrow streets.
This should help firefighters get to the scene of a fire sooner, which could prevent small fires from turning into big ones.
The government is investing in this new equipment to keep people safe and to reduce damage from fires.
These new QRVs were deployed on Prime Minister Modi's birthday.
Delhi Fire Service deployed 24 QRVs worth Rs 8.61 crore.
Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the vehicles.
The initiative targets congested and high-risk areas.
The vehicles are equipped with modern firefighting technology.
The project is funded in phases, with more QRVs planned.
