Karnataka Bus Fare Hike Could Come This Month
Bus rides in Karnataka may cost more soon.
The state is considering fare changes for four government-run bus companies.
A committee has finished studying their finances and suggesting fare increases.

Diesel prices reportedly rose about Rs 8 per litre in seven months, adding around Rs 40 crore monthly to operating costs.
The corporations reported losses in each of the last three financial years listed, including Rs 1,527 crore in 2025-26.
