Beyond Leaks: India Needs to Reset Entire Exam System

India's big tests for students have had problems, including leaks.

So the government is forming a group of experts to fix how exams work.

A famous builder of digital systems named Nandan Nilekani is expected to lead this group.

He has helped build big digital tools for India before, so people hope he can think of smart new ideas.

The group's exact job is not officially announced yet.

The article says India should fix the whole exam system, not just stop leaks.

This includes how questions are made, how tests are held, how papers are graded, and how students can complain.

Some places have no good computers or internet, so online tests are not always easy.

The group might suggest ways to hold tests on the same day for everyone or in multiple groups.

The goal is to make exams fairer and safer for all students.
