Google Expands Veo 3 AI Video to Gemini API
Google has upgraded its Veo AI video generator, Veo 3, and made it available to developers through the Gemini API.
This means that developers can now use Veo 3's tools to create videos in their own apps.
Using Veo 3 will cost $0.75 for every second of video produced.
The videos can be up to 720p quality with synchronized sound.
Google is also planning a faster and cheaper version called Veo 3 Fast.
All videos will include a watermark to show that they are made by AI.
Veo 3 was initially only available to paid subscribers.
Google has expanded its Veo 3 AI video generation model to the Gemini API.
Developers can integrate Veo 3 into their apps using the Google AI Studio.
Pricing is set at $0.75 per second of video and audio output.
Veo 3 supports 720p resolution, 24fps, and a 16:9 aspect ratio with AI-generated audio.
A more affordable and faster version, Veo 3 Fast, is planned for future release.
