Zero Waste Tadoba Initiative Launched
The Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) and Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) have teamed up to start the 'Zero Waste Tadoba' project.
This project aims to manage waste better, improve sanitation, and help the local communities protect the environment in the buffer zone of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra.
The goal is to create a circular economy where waste is minimized, and resources are used efficiently.
This initiative is important for both the environment and the people living near the reserve.
Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) and Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) have signed an MoU to implement the 'Zero Waste Tadoba' initiative in the buffer zone of the sanctuary.

The project is an ambitious circular-economy model focused on minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency.
The Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is located in Chandrapur district, eastern Maharashtra.
