Apple Plans Staggered iPhone 18 Series Launch from 2026
Apple might change how it releases new iPhones.
Instead of all new models coming out in the fall, they could be spaced out.
In the fall of 2026, Apple might release the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and their first-ever foldable iPhone.
Then, in the spring of 2027, they might release the regular iPhone 18 and other models like the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air.
This change is to help make things easier for the people who build the phones and to help Apple make money more evenly across the year.
It could also mean Apple offers more iPhone choices throughout the year, not just all at once.
Apple is reportedly planning to stagger the release of its iPhone 18 series starting in 2026.
Pro models (iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max) and a foldable iPhone are expected in autumn 2026.
Standard models (iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, iPhone Air) are anticipated to launch in spring 2027.
This shift aims to reduce internal production pressure and create a more consistent revenue flow for Apple.
Apple may offer five to six iPhone models annually under the new staggered release structure.
