Maharashtra Unveils Ambitious II&S Policy 2025
Maharashtra has introduced a new policy called the II&S Policy 2025.
This policy aims to make Maharashtra the first state in India to have a trillion-dollar economy by 2030.
The plan includes attracting a lot of investments, creating many new jobs, and improving infrastructure.
The state will focus on growing manufacturing and services sectors.
A new agency called Invest Maharashtra will help with investments and approvals.
The policy also aims to spread development to more districts, not just the big cities.
The government has set aside a lot of money to make this happen and will add more if needed.
The goal is to make Maharashtra a top global business destination.
Maharashtra aims to become India's first trillion-dollar economy by 2030 through the II&S Policy 2025.
The policy targets ₹70.5 lakh crore in investments and the creation of 50 lakh jobs.
Manufacturing and services sectors are expected to grow at 15% and 12–13% respectively.
Invest Maharashtra, a unified investment promotion agency, will be created with an outlay of ₹3,000 crore.
The policy includes the development of smart industrial townships, Ultra Mega Parks, and new industrial corridors.
