Israel Shares Video After Hamas Denies October 7 Attack Atrocities
Hamas, a group in Gaza, said they did not mean to hurt regular people during an attack on Israel in 2023.
They wrote a report saying they tried to avoid hurting civilians.
But the Israeli army, called the IDF, showed a video that they say proves Hamas did hurt civilians, including women and children.
The IDF says the video shows what really happened.
Hamas wants an independent investigation into what happened, but the IDF says the video shows the truth.
A court in 2024 even asked for some Hamas leaders and Israeli officials to be arrested for possible war crimes.
It's a big disagreement about what really happened during the attack.
Hamas released a 42-page document denying targeting civilians and committing atrocities during the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.
The IDF responded by sharing a 10-minute video showing civilian killings, including women and children, to counter Hamas' claims.
Hamas accused Western media and Zionist groups of spreading disinformation and called for an impartial international investigation.
The IDF stated the video shows documented events and not mere allegations, rejecting Hamas' version of the attack.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in 2024 for Hamas leaders and Israeli officials over alleged war crimes.
