Delhi: Road Underbridges Approved to Replace Level Crossings
The government is building road underbridges, which are like tunnels, at two railway crossings in Delhi, Palam and Shahbad, to make traffic flow better.
The Railway Ministry has approved the plans and the money for the project.
A politician brought up the traffic problem at these crossings because many people get stuck there.
Building these underbridges might take a while, as it depends on things like getting permission and buying land.
The minister also mentioned that existing subways and road overbridges already exist nearby.
Road underbridges (RUBs) are to be constructed at Palam and Shahbad railway crossings in Delhi.
The Railway Ministry has sanctioned detailed estimates for the RUB construction.
The project aims to replace existing level crossings.
BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri raised concerns about traffic delays at the crossings.
Completion depends on various factors, including state government cooperation and land acquisition.
