Siliguri Announces New Infrastructure Projects for Traffic and Healthcare
Siliguri is getting a makeover!
A new bus station is being built to make it easier for buses to come and go, which should help with traffic.
The old truck stop is also getting fixed up.
Plus, there's a plan for another bus station.
Also, the local hospital is getting some improvements like a new area for vendors and better trash cleanup.
All these changes are to make the city run smoother and better for everyone.
A new bus terminus is planned in Matigara, Siliguri, to ease traffic.
The existing truck terminal at Matigara will be upgraded.
The new bus terminus will accommodate 70 buses with amenities like ticket counters and a cafeteria.
A third bus terminus is planned in Mallaguri, to be developed on a PPP mode.
North Bengal Medical College & Hospital (NBMCH) will receive new facilities, including a vendors' area and waste management improvements.
