Prisoner Escapes Sheopur Jail Using Bedsheet Rope

A prisoner named Dharmendra Kushwaha escaped from a jail in Madhya Pradesh.

He was 24 years old.

Officials say he tied bedsheets together to make a rope.

He allegedly used the rope to climb over a 22-foot wall.

The escape happened while some prisoners attended an online Bhagavad Gita training session.

After the session, officials noticed that Dharmendra had not returned to his barrack.

Police began searching nearby areas and places where he might be hiding.

The jail has ordered an investigation into how he escaped without being noticed.
