GLOBOIL India 2026 Concludes in Mumbai With Industry Awards
GLOBOIL India is a meeting where people who work with edible oils and crops talk about their industry.
Its 29th meeting took place in Mumbai over three days.
People discussed trade, prices, sustainability and new technologies.
The event also presented more than 25 awards.
Priyam Patel and Vijay Data received two of the main honours.
Actors Sonu Sood and Celina Jaitly joined the awards activities.
There were also musical and comedy performances.
Organisers said they will announce plans for the next edition soon.
The 29th GLOBOIL India ran September 29 to October 1 at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake.
Organised by Tefla’s, the conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders, traders and commodity experts.
Discussions covered edible oil markets, trade, biofuels, sustainability, supply security, artificial intelligence and processing technologies.
More than 25 awards were presented; Priyam Patel was named GLOBOIL India Man of the Year and Vijay Data received GLOBOIL India Legend.
Sonu Sood and Celina Jaitly took part in the awards evening, which also included live performances.
