PVR INOX Launches India's First Holographic Advertising Platform
PVR INOX and Ikonz Studios have teamed up to bring something really cool to movie theaters in India.
They've created a special technology that makes 3D holograms of famous people and brands.
These holograms can talk to you and make ads more fun and memorable.
Right now, you can see them in a few theaters in Delhi and Mumbai, but soon they'll be in many more places across the country.
One of the first holograms was of a famous actor, Amitabh Bachchan, promoting a bank.
This new way of advertising is meant to make watching ads in theaters more exciting and engaging.
PVR INOX partners with Ikonz Studios to launch India's first holographic advertising platform.
The platform uses HXR technology with AI to create interactive 3D holograms in cinema foyers.
Currently live in seven PVR INOX locations in Delhi and Mumbai, with plans to expand to 50 cinemas nationwide by Q1 2026.
Early campaigns feature Amitabh Bachchan in a holographic brand activation for IDFC Bank.
The initiative aims to transform cinema advertising into immersive, memorable experiences.
