Delhi's Winter Air Contains Drug-Resistant Superbugs

Scientists in Delhi found something scary in the winter air.

Besides the usual smog and dust, they discovered tiny, dangerous bacteria that can resist medicines.

These superbugs were found both outside and inside buildings.

The study was done by Jawaharlal Nehru University.

This adds to the problems caused by Delhi's bad air quality, which is already very polluted.

The researchers are worried because these superbugs can make people sick and are hard to treat.

They want to understand how these bacteria are spreading and what can be done to protect people's health.

Meanwhile, Delhi's air quality remains very poor, with an AQI of 361, and the temperature is quite cold, around 5 degrees Celsius.
