Delhi Police Cyber Cell busted a highly organized racket involved in manufacturing and selling counterfeit Schedule-H medicines.
Two individuals, Gaurav Bhagat and Shree Ram alias Vishal Gupta, were arrested in connection with the case.
The raid recovered counterfeit medicines worth over Rs 2.3 crore, including Betnovate-C and Clop-G ointments.
The manufacturing unit was traced to Meerpur Hindu village in Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Drug Inspectors confirmed the seized medicines were counterfeit and not authorized by the pharmaceutical companies.
