Gujarat Police Hunt Tata Motors Showroom Manager Over Alleged Car Fraud

Police in Gujarat are looking for Rajan Joshi, who worked as a manager at a Tata Motors dealership.

Several people say he promised to sell their old cars or arrange discounts on new ones.

They allege that he sold some cars without permission and did not give the owners their money.

A used-car dealer also says Joshi took more than Rs 25 lakh but did not provide the promised vehicles.

One owner learned about the alleged sale of his car when another dealer called for a bank document.

Police say 13 people have made similar complaints.

Four formal police cases had been registered within five days.

The dealership says Joshi may have cheated it as well.

Police are searching for him and investigating the allegations.
