NFR Extends Six Special Train Pairs Amid Assam Floods
The Northeast Frontier Railway, which runs trains in Northeast India, decided to keep more special trains running because many people in Assam are having trouble traveling due to floods.
They added extra trips for six pairs of trains that already run in the area.
Some trains will run a few more times each day, and a couple of them will have new arrival and departure times at a station called Rangiya.
Passengers should check the railway’s website or social media for the exact times and stops before they travel.
NFR extends operation of six pairs of special trains to aid flood‑affected passengers in Assam.
The six pairs include trains 05831/32, 05911/12, 05913/14, 05932/31, 07641/42, and 07643/44.
Additional trips are added: up to five extra runs for 05932/31, three for 05913/14 and 07641/42, and two for 07643/44.
Schedule changes include new arrival/departure times at Rangiya for train 05931 from 3 Aug 2026.
Passengers are advised to check IRCTC and NFR social media for updated timings and stoppages.
