Jeep Crashes Into Parked Container Truck on Mumbai‑Nashik Highway
A family was driving home from Mumbai on a rainy night when their Jeep hit a parked container truck on the highway.
The crash hurt eight people, four of them badly.
The driver couldn't see the truck because it was raining and the truck didn't have enough warning signs.
Police and other people helped the injured and took them to a hospital.
They are still looking into why the truck was parked there and how the crash happened.
Eight family members were injured, four critically, after a Jeep hit a parked container truck on the Mumbai‑Nashik Highway.
The accident happened early Thursday morning near Sonale village, Bhiwandi, during light rain and poor visibility.
Police say the driver failed to notice the truck, which may not have had proper warning signs or reflective markers.
