Suzuki Gixxer 250 Recall: Brake Assembly Issue
Suzuki India is calling back some Gixxer 250 motorcycles because of a problem with the brakes.
The rear brake parts were installed incorrectly.
This means the brake pads might not touch the brake disc properly, possibly leading to uneven wear.
If this happens, the brakes might not work as well over time.
About 5,145 bikes are affected.
Suzuki will fix the problem for free at its service centers.
Owners will be contacted, but they can also check with their local Suzuki service center to see if their bike is part of the recall.
Suzuki Motorcycle India announced a recall of Gixxer 250 motorcycles.
The recall affects 5,145 units.
The issue stems from an incorrect rear brake assembly from the V-Strom SX 250.
Improper contact can cause uneven brake pad wear and reduced braking.
Repairs will be done at authorized service centers at no cost.
