MP Exam Centers: Only 13 Cities Offer Online Facilities, Causing Long Travel for Aspirants
Imagine you need to take a very important test to get a job.
But, in your whole state, there are only a few special computer rooms where you can take the test.
Because there are so few, many people have to travel super far from their homes to get to one.
Some people, especially girls, can't make the long trip, so they miss their chance to take the test even though they wanted to.
The people in charge say they use computers to pick where the test rooms are, and they try to be fair, but it still means lots of people have to travel far away.
Only 12-13 cities in Madhya Pradesh have facilities for online examinations.
Lakhs of job aspirants are unable to appear for exams due to long distances to exam centers.
Approximately 4 lakh candidates out of 10 lakh applicants could not take the police constable recruitment exam-2023 due to distant centers.
Women aspirants are particularly affected by the lack of accessible exam centers.
The Employee Selection Board (ESB) uses software for center allotment, similar to SSC and NTA, to ensure integrity.
