VJIT Officials Accuse JNTUH Vice Chancellor of Derogatory Remarks

Two officials from VJIT say the university’s Vice Chancellor spoke to them in an insulting and threatening way.

They say this happened during a meeting on October 6, when they went to invite him to an event.

They filed a complaint with the police.

Police have started checking what happened and are seeking CCTV footage.

They said they would question the Vice Chancellor when he returns to town.

The university denies the accusations and calls them baseless.

It says women hold leadership and academic roles at the university.

The complaint’s claims have not been established by the preliminary inquiry.
