Minister Seeks 100% Pass Rates in Class 10, Intermediate Exams
The Social Welfare Minister met officials in Tirupati to discuss student and community support.
He said students in welfare hostels should receive good education and the supplies promised by the government.
He wants officials to help every student do well in school.
Their goal is for all students to pass Class 10 and Intermediate exams.
Officials should check students’ progress and offer help when needed.
They should also make sure hostels are clean, serve good food and have the needed facilities.
The minister asked officials to improve a centre at Kothala and arrange medical camps for transgender people.
He also said departments should work together so eligible people receive welfare benefits.
Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy reviewed department work with officials in Tirupati on Sunday.
He said welfare hostels should provide students quality education and government-provided items, including sportswear, nightwear, shoes and towels.
Officials were asked to prepare plans, monitor student progress and work toward 100 percent pass results in Class 10 and Intermediate exams.
The minister called for regular checks on hostel cleanliness, food quality, infrastructure, student health and safety.
He also urged improved performance at the Kothala Excellence Centre, medical camps for transgender people and coordination to deliver welfare benefits.
