FIR Lodged Against Woman Over Bhubaneswar Airport Ruckus After Cancellation

A woman was at an airport in Bhubaneswar, India, waiting to fly home to the city of Kolkata.

Her flight was delayed and then cancelled because of a technical problem.

The woman was very upset and started shouting at the airline workers.

She even climbed onto a conveyor belt and threw some objects.

Other passengers said they were not told about the cancellation quickly enough.

A video of the woman shouting spread widely online.

Police registered a formal complaint, called an FIR, against her for damaging airport property and misbehaving with staff.

Security officers stepped in, and the situation was handled.

The woman later got to Kolkata by taking a connecting flight that went through New Delhi.

As compensation, the airline gave the passengers refreshments and coupons worth Rs 5,000.
