Gautam Gambhir Reflects on Two Years Leading India

Gautam Gambhir has been India’s cricket coach for two years.

He said the team has experienced both good and difficult results during that time.

He believes accepting both success and failure is part of being responsible for a national team.

Gambhir said he and Rohit Sharma understand each other because they played together in the past.

He also praised four captains for putting the team before themselves.

These captains are Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer.

Gambhir especially praised Gill for leading India in five Test matches in England.

India will next play the West Indies in three one-day matches and five T20 matches.

Gill will lead India in the ODIs, while Iyer will captain the T20I team.
