Owaisi's Hijab-Clad PM Dream Sparks Debate
Asaduddin Owaisi, a leader from the AIMIM party, said he dreams of a day when a woman wearing a hijab could become the Prime Minister of India.
He pointed out that India's constitution allows any citizen to hold top positions, unlike Pakistan's constitution.
The BJP, another political party, disagreed.
Himanta Biswa Sarma, a BJP leader, said that India's Prime Minister will always be a Hindu.
Another BJP leader, Anil Bonde, said that Muslim women do not want to wear hijab and accused Owaisi of making irresponsible statements.
Both parties argued about what the constitution allows and who can hold important positions in the country.

The debate occurred during campaigning for local body elections in Solapur, Maharashtra.
