Purani Haveli’s 1,000-ft wing gets heritage makeover · thehansindia.com

A long, historic part of Purani Haveli in Hyderabad has been restored.

It is called the Asaf Jahi wing and is nearly 1,000 feet long.

The Mukarram Jah Trust for Education and Learning is working to care for the palace.

The trust says only small finishing touches remain on the restored wing.

It also plans to start fixing another part of the palace, called the Sixth Mahal.

That work is expected to be finished by next year.

The restored spaces are connected to education, and the Sixth Mahal work could help the school take in more students.

Purani Haveli was once the home of the Sixth Nizam and now includes the Nizam Museum.
