Juniper Green Energy IPO 38% Subscribed, Listing on Aug 6
Juniper Green Energy, a company that builds solar and wind power plants, sold new shares to the public in a big fundraising event called an IPO.
On the first day, only about 38% of the shares were bought, but the big institutional investors (QIBs) bought all the shares they wanted.
The price people were willing to pay in the grey market was a little higher than the official price, showing investors were interested.
The company will use most of the money to pay off loans and give money to its subsidiaries, and the rest for other business needs.
The shares will start trading on the main Indian stock exchanges on 6 August 2026.
Juniper Green Energy’s ₹1,800‑crore IPO was 38% subscribed on Day 1, with QIBs fully subscribed and employees fully subscribed.
The grey‑market premium rose to ₹17 per share by Day 2, indicating a 4–5 % premium over the issue price.
The price band was set at ₹214‑₹225 per share, targeting a post‑listing market cap of about ₹12,800 crore.
Net proceeds will be used to repay borrowings (₹683 crore), fund subsidiaries (₹729 crore) and cover general corporate purposes.
The shares will list on the BSE and NSE on 6 Aug 2026, with allotment finalized on 4 Aug and refunds on 5 Aug.
