Nine-Year-Old Killed, Cousin Critically Injured in Pipraich Attack
A nine‑year‑old boy named Saras Singh was killed and his 15‑year‑old cousin Shivkumar Singh was badly hurt in Pipraich, a town in India.
A group of men attacked them with sticks, iron rods and bricks while they were going to buy paan.
The police say the attack happened after a long argument.
A girl from Shivkumar’s family was said to have been harassed by a local boy named Sikandar Sahani.
A village council had tried to settle the problem, but anger stayed.
Shivkumar is now in the hospital, and Saras was from a nearby village.
The police are still looking into who did it.
