Gold Prices Surge in Delhi Amid Festive Demand
Gold prices in Delhi went up a lot on Tuesday.
This happened because many people are buying gold for weddings and festivals.
Gold became more expensive by ₹3,500, reaching ₹1,28,900 for 10 grams.
Silver also became more expensive by ₹5,800, reaching ₹1,60,800 per kilogram.
Even though gold prices went down a little bit in other countries, the high demand in India made the prices go up here.
Experts say that the US dollar is weaker, and this makes gold more attractive for investors.
They also think the US Federal Reserve might cut interest rates soon, which could make gold even more popular.
Gold prices in Delhi rose by ₹3,500 to ₹1,28,900 per 10 grams due to increased buying ahead of the wedding and festive season.
Silver prices also increased by ₹5,800 to ₹1,60,800 per kilogram in Delhi.
The rise in gold prices is attributed to strong domestic demand and a weaker US dollar.
International gold prices were slightly down, but domestic demand in India pushed prices higher locally.
Experts expect the US Federal Reserve may cut interest rates in December, making gold more attractive for investors.
