Mumbai Western Railway Announces 5-Hour Block for August 17th
Imagine some busy train tracks in Mumbai are getting fixed!
To do this safely, the trains on the fast tracks between Borivali and Goregaon will be paused for five hours on August 17th.
During this time, trains will use the slower tracks instead.
Some trains won't run at all, and others will end their journey earlier.
This is all to make sure the tracks, signals, and wires are in good shape for everyone's safety.
A five-hour jumbo block is scheduled on August 17th between Borivali and Goregaon stations.
The block will affect the UP and Down fast lines.
Maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment is the reason for the block.
Fast line trains will run on slow lines during the block.
Some suburban trains will be canceled, and others will terminate at Goregaon.
