Pakistan Sends 100 Tonnes of Aid to Nepal Flood Victims

Pakistan sent 100 tonnes of supplies to Nepal after severe floods and landslides.

The aid was sent on September 6.

It traveled by a special airplane from Islamabad to Kathmandu.

The supplies included tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and medicines.

Pakistan said it wanted to support Nepal’s people during the disaster.

The relief effort was organized by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority.

The disaster began after an ice-rock avalanche near the Nepal-Tibet border on August 26.

More than 1,300 people were reported dead, while nearly 5,000 remained missing.
