Amit Shah Says New Criminal Laws Will End Extortion Regime

Amit Shah spoke about three new laws that change how crimes and court cases are handled in India.

He said the former West Bengal government did not put the laws into effect.

Shah accused that government of protecting illegal money-making and extortion networks.

He said the new laws are meant to replace fear with trust.

They are also intended to help courts deliver justice faster.

A zero FIR can be filed at any police station, even if the crime happened elsewhere.

Shah also said he wants alleged cross-border infiltrators found and deported.

An exhibition in Siliguri is explaining the new justice system to the public.
